Witenwasserenstock 3085 m Alpinism
The eastern summit (3025 m) forms the meeting point of three counties: Ticino, Valais and Uri. The water that drains from here flow into three seperate seas. Through the Po into the Adriatic Sea, through the Rhone into the Western Mediterranean and through the Rhine into the North Sea. Roughly 330 meters from the eastern summit rises the more prominent and slightly higher west summit (3084 m). The connecting ridge offers nice climbing on stellar rock.
