Vitznauerstock / Gersauerstock 1450 m Mountain hiking
The summit is actually a narrow ridge overgrown by a steep mountain forest. Its foot juts out into Lake Lucerne separating the bays of Vitznau and Gersau. That is why it has two names. The highest point is in the forest. The point, where the view opens to the east, is 50 m below the summit close to P. 1450. The view to the west is splendid from the huge cross one reaches when following the ridge south-westward.
