The Fellibach stream is a constant companion
On this approach, the lively, happy Fellibach is a constant and welcome companion. It drains the elongated Fellital (valley), along which the first part of this approach leads. The first section along the gravel road also serves as the hiking trail until just before the Unterfelliberg. From here the path becomes narrower and more interesting. The real pleasure begins after the Oberfelliberg: cool pine forests, bubbling mountain streams and the wildly romantic alpine huts are all visited in turn.
Route description
Gurtnellen (Güetli) – Felliberg – Treschhütte SAC
From the Fellital bus stop near Güetli (711 m) take the underpass to Wassnerwald and continue along the mountain road towards Felliberg. Once out of the forest take the hiking trail more directly up past Felliberg and onto the western (E-facing) slopes of Fellital. Then follow the valley floor past Hütten (1262 m) and Ronen (1362 m) to the Treschhütte SAC, which suddenly emerges out of the forest.
