Its all about location. This not only applies to real estate, but also to via ferratas, as in the case of the "Tierbergli", with its rocky scenery towards "Tälli", and the broad expanse of surrounding glacier which gives that high-alpine feeling. The builders of the new ferrata here have done a good job here, creating an adventurous and challenging new route to the Tierbergli hut through the cliff below. The first section describes an elaborate approach loop to arrive at a slightly overhanging wall, where a difficult crux arrises (K4, despite abundant iron aids). The second section is more difficult overall, though has no comparable crux section. And at the end of the ferrata you can enjoy a beer or "Wurscht u Moscht".
