A high mountain ski tour from Cabane de Bertol SAC. The route is relatively easy in good weather, but turns significantly more difficult if the weather changes. Alpine experience is required, especially if you intend to go on to Zermatt on the Haute-Route.

Route description
Cabane de Bertol - Tête Blanche
From Cabane de Bertol (3311 m) descend to Col de Bertol (3268 m). From here ascend south-eastward to reach the Glacier du Mont Miné. Go past the NE pillar of Dents de Bertol until ca. 3200 m. Now ascend the gentle glacier bowl to reach the foot of a wide depression. Ascend the depression eastward to a wide ridge. Follow the ridge to the summit.
