The tour to the well-known Steimandli (cairn) is very popular and can always be undertaken. Further up, the slopes get steeper. Sometimes they are swept snow-free by the wind. The highest reachable point is P. 2074 on Bachberggrat. West of the itinerary there is the Saanen Hohberg-Gifer game reserve, which may not be skied in.
Route description

Variant: continue to P. 2074
P. 2074, a point on Bachberggrat, can be reached within roughly half an hour by ascending the NW face (inclination 30°).
