Route description
Unteriberg i Spital
From the Unteriberg, Guggelstrasse bus stop (924 m) leave the village on the Oberibergstrasse. Follow the marked snowshoe trail to Berghaus Hochgütsch (1095 m). Continue northward to the edge of the forest and follow the trail into Plattentobel. Cross the bridge and via P. 1286 ascend the pretty, open pastures of I de Blätze north-westward past the Spital alp to reach the highest point.
Descent
Exactly on the ascent; however, the descents northward via Bögliegg (re-ascent) are much more interesting. You can ski down to Gross (at the end a long flat stretch) or to Steinbach (another re-ascent to Hummel and a rough passage in the forest).
