Scherbadung 3210 m Mountain hiking
Scherbadung is an impressive mountain with a complicated structure. From the south the massive silhouette is especially impressive. It is located between Binntal and Alpe Dèvero on the border between Switzerland and Italy. The name is the Valais derivation of the Italian Cervandone. The glaciers (Wannigletscher, Ghiacciaio della Rossa) have either already disappeared or are covered with a thick layer of rubble. It is a matter of years until all the glaciers will be completely gone.
On the summit there is a plaque with a picture of the Virgin Mary and a visitors book.
