Sardonahütte SAC 2158 m
A charming, family-friendly summer hikers’ cabin covered with shingles. It stands in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sardona Tectonic Area. Access trails and high routes from the Walser village St. Martin in Calfeisental or across Heidelpass and past the picturesque Plattensee lead to the cabin. The access from Elm or Flims is slightly longer. Piz Sardona (Surenstock) is a fairly difficult high alpine tour with a short climbing passage right below the summit.
