Risleten 440 m Climbing
Directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne is this 120 m high limestone slab, a great training ground for lovers of friction climbing. On the two short, steep routes on the eastern boundary wall, finger power is also in high demand. For children and beginners, there are a dozen short routes on the left-hand bastion with spits close together, suitable for practising lead climbing.
The climbing here is best visited in summer, because it is north exposed and in the shade on the longest days of the year until around noon. In the afternoon you can cool down in the small artificial harbour; also for children there is safe swimming.
