The ascent to Rifugio Saoseo is short and convenient - practically non-existent even if you take the bus to the "Lungaqua" station. Bikers are happy to take the road, while the variant on the southern side of the valley is better for those on foot.
Route description
Sfazù - Val da Camp - Rifugio Saoseo (road)
From the car park at Sfazù, (1622 m) follow a good mountain road into the Val da Camp to the hut. Buses run along this from May to October.
Sfazù - Val da Camp - Rifugio Saoseo (footpath)
A nicer, but somewhat longer hut approach leads right from Buril (1697 m) to Doss on the south side of the valley. Continue via Suracqua - Terzana - Poz da Rügiul, then back N to Rügiul, where you join the road again.
