The easiest and most popular route to Pizzo Tambo. With the Splügenpass as a high starting point a short day trip, which can be done later in the season often without snow and ice contact. The remnant glacier "Vedretta della Spianata" in the hollow southeast of the summit melts more and more, to slowly form an ice remnant. The route is not officially marked, but there are clear tracks and many cairns along the way.
