It is a pleasurable ski tour with a beautiful view and pretty descent variants south- and eastward.
Route description
Lü – Piz Terza
From Lü (1916 m) on the old alp access trail ascend eastward, past the water reservoir, to the Bual clearing. Here cross the new alp access trail and ascend north-eastward through a sparse larch forest to reach the Valmorain alp (2193 m), the last stretch on a trail. Now ascend northward to the small chalet at P. 2388. Traverse the Valbella bowl until the signpost below Fuorcla Sassalba (2618 m). Turn eastward overcoming an escarpment to reach a small valley. Follow this valley, bypassing a ridge and ascend another bowl to Piz Terza with its two summits.
