Piz Ravetsch and its western neighbor, Piz Borel form a fine conclusion to the Maighels Valley. Both are glaciated on the north side and offer a magnificent view of the southern adjoining lakeland landscape around the Capanna Cadlimo (hut). The worth of this tour also lies with the rewarding combination of climbing two peaks in one go and in making an interesting valley change within the Leventina area. The climb through the Val Maighels is long, but compensated by a beautiful landscape and rather gentle climbing. Along the route is the Camona da Maighels (hut). The team there will gladly provide a welcome energy boost for your ascent to Piz Ravetsch.
