Route description
Bergstation Diavolezza - Vadret Pers
From Diavolezza, follow the path of the ski slope to the top station of the chairlift. Continue southeast to Piz Trovat (blue and white markings). Where the path splits beneath the slope of Piz Trovat, take the lower lefthand path. Pass the lower eastern walls of Piz Trovat and reach the Fuorcla Trovat. Continue along the scree bedecked ridge southeastwards to the lowest point between Val d`Arlas and Vadret Pers.
Vadret Pers - Piz d'Arlas north summit.
Head shortly onto the glacier to bypass point 3096 m before joining the ridge line again to its southeast at Fuorcla d`Arlas. To gain the saddle, head to the start of a rubble couloir where iron bars lead up to a band (belay stance), then follow tracks up to the Fuorcla d`Arlas. Cairns show the way forward, up along the southwest side of the broad humpback. Just below the summit, the trail leads east to a large cairn on the northeast ridge. In early summer you can also climb directly here over a snow slope.
