Route description
Col de Mosses - Lioson - Pic Chaussy
From Col des Mosses (1445 m) ascend eastward towards Lioson d’en Bas (1575 m), passing many chalets. Continue on the road through the forest to Lioson d’en Haut (ca. 1850 m) and Lac Lioson. Now turn SW and enter the bowl of La Chenau. Ascend the bowl towards P. 2079. From here go southward, then south-westward to the breach in the main ridge (2297 m). From here follow the exposed E ridge to the summit. It can be treacherous, if the snow is hard frozen.
