Passo Quadrella, a col between Cimalmotto and Campo Vallemaggia, offers a tour through beautiful forests, which can be undertaken even after heavy snowfall. It is a classic, picturesque route, also for beginners. The first part is through a magnificent forest, then the landscape opens. Valle di Campo, a side valley with only a few inhabitants in winter, and Campo Vallemaggia are fascinating and unspoilt places.
