Le Soliat (Creux du Van) 1464 m Snowshoe tour
Le Soliat is a popular target on the rim of Creux du Van. Roads, farms and several inns characterize the wide high plain between Lac de Neuchâtel and Val de Travers. On the highest point there is a summit cross and a panoramic display protected against the grazing cattle by a wooden fence. In the area there is also an ibex colony. Please note the wildlife reserves in the northeastern part.
