Joderhorn 3035 m Alpine climbing
This summit is very close to Monte Moropass. Thanks to its southern location high above Valle Anzasca the view to the E face of Monte Rosa is extraordinary. While the border ridge offers rather gentle tours, the climbing routes in the E face are more spectacular. Some of them may not be recommended anymore due to the increasing risk of falling rocks. "Joder" is the Walliser German equivalent of St. Theodul (Theodor), the first bishop and patron saint of the country.
