Entertaining, steep ascent on a definitively 'beaten' track. One step requires caution, especially during descent, as the rocks are covered with sand and earth. On the popular summit you will likely meet other mountaineers who have arrived off one of the climbing routes or the 'via ferrata'. The first ascensionists were probably hunters from the area.

Route description

Weissmieshütte - Tälli P. 2730

From Weissmieshütte (2726 m) follow a path horizontally north across streams and moraines to Tälli, 1 / 2_Std. This point can also be reached on a mountain trail from the cable car station at Kreuzboden (1_Std.)

Tälli P. 2730 - Jegihorn

From Tälli, climb along the marked path trending leftwards through the steep S-flank over short, light rocky outcrops amongst fields of rubble (about 3000 m). Then climb straight up, over some easy rock ledges and follow the broad gully up to the W ridge. Follow the W ridge to the summit (3205 m), 1 1/2 h.
