Route description
Kreuzboden - Weissmieshütte - Start
From the cable car station at Kreuzboden (2397 m), first ascend to the beautifully situated Weissmieshütte (2726 m). From the Weissmieshütte, follow the almost flat hiking trail in a northerly direction until you reach the small valley between the mighty lateral moraine of the Fletschhorn glacier and the Jegihorn. At P. 2739, the trail turns north and climbs up to the entrance of the via ferrata.
Alternatively you can also ascend on the orographic left side of the Triftbach. From pt. 2739 continue on the same path.
