From Parmort the easy and multifaceted ascent makes for a safe and rewarding tour even in doubtful conditions, if you do not climb the summit slope in a direct line. The wide slopes allow every skier to draw their own line. Please respect the Luggenböden-Geissegg game reserve to the north-west of the route.
Route description
Vermol – Hüenerchopf
From Parmort parking lot Chapfensee to Parmort and southwards on the forest road up to Lutzboden. Shortly after the water reservoir turn south-westward to traverse clearings and ascend to Alpstutz (1460 m). Continue in the same direction on the summer trail to reach the chalet at P. 1739. Continue to ascend westward in a short stretch of sparse forest to reach Gletti. From there make a wide arc to the south to enter the bowl of Chrummbäch below Hüenerchopf. If the conditions are safe ascend the steep bowl (30° in 80 metres of vertical height) eastward to the wide saddle to the west of P. 2079 between Broch and Hüenerchopf. You reach the summit with its cross and a summit book by following the south-east ridge. Usually the last 20 metres are negotiated on foot (ski depot under the rocky summit head).

Vermol (1073 m)
There are very few parking spaces available in Vermol, the classic starting point for the tour. Since the municipality of Mels opens the Plons-Tils-Parmont road in the winter season and clears the Chapfensee parking lot, the Parmort starting point is preferable.
