Approach to the climbing area Hornfluh
The approach to the climbing is very simple and, thanks to the Hornberg chairlift or cable car, also very short. It leads first along a dirt track then onto a decent footpath. West facing, afternoon sun.
Route description
Horneggli, Bergstation - Sport Climbing Hornfluh
Take the chair lift to the Horneggli. From the mountain station, contour south along the dirt track, later turning onto a decent footpath which brings you up to the cliff base from the west.
Variant: Hornberg lake (ca. 1800 m) - Sport Climbing Hornfluh
You can drive up to the Hornberg in summer; take the Alpstrasse from Saanenmöser (direction Golf Course) and continue up to the Hornberg. Park at the small lake then follow the circular track on foot to the obvious transmission mast, and on to the climbing.
