The Eggstock is best known for the via ferrata that leads from the Leitereggstock over the entire chain of Eggstock to the Hinter Eggstock. Its ascent in winter from Gumen is short and attractive. Steep summit ascent to P. 2455, therefore the ridge around P. 2367 is often chosen as summit.
