Hächlezänd 1930 m Climbing
Between Strick and Hächle, stands the highest peak of the Schrattenflue: the Hächlezänd; a handful of limestone towers 20 to 40 meters high. If you don't mind the ascent of one and a half to two hours, depending on your starting point, you will find a wide range of well-equipped sports climbing routes in addition to peace and quiet, not to mention the great view over the Mittelland to the north and the Bernese mountains to the south. The sunny, fog-free location also provides pleasant conditions for climbing in winter. The rocks of Hächlezänd are predestined for climbing in combination with a ski tour in this most popular touring area of Entlebuch.
