The length of the route and the modest difficulties make this a popular classic for the region. The start of the route has somewhat variable rock quality, but the middle section offer great climbing on structured slabs criss crossed with excellent cracks. The last two pitches of the route are shared with "Fourmis", and have a very alpine atmosphere. The view of the Cornet and the gently undulating surrounding landscape give the area a Zen-like feeling.
