Grand Chavalard 2901 m Ski tour
Characteristic pyramid towering above Fully in the lower Rhone valley. It offers a magnificent view to the Rhone valley and the High Alps. Grand Chavalard has a mighty impressive E face, which offers one of the best steep slope descents of the region: long, difficult and with breath taking views deep down to the valley floor 2550 m below. The descent on NE face described here is difficult, too, but less exposed.
