Gemschberg may be considered only a secondary summit to the more important Schwarzhorn, but the triangular 600-metre high south-east face with its perfect inclination for skiing promises a pleasurable descent. The tour is best with spring snow, which occurs fairly often, given the south-eastern exposure. The south-east face may be swept snow-free by the wind. Please avoid disturbing the chamois by staying away from the western rim.
