The entire itinerary is marked white-red-white. Along the lake you will encounter several exposed passages. The trail is precarious in wet, snowy and icy conditions.

Starting point of the cabin access trail directly from the Grimsel pass road (for example outside the funicular’s operating hours or in case of huge crowds). Add an hour as compared to the trail from Gelmersee.
