Gelmerhütte SAC 2412 m
The cabin stands in a landscape with compact Aare granite rock and is surrounded by polished boulders and sharp ridges of the Grimsel region. It offers a view down to Lake Gelmer. Visiting the cabin begins with riding one of the steepest funicular railways of Europe up to Gelmersee, an unforgettable experience in its own right. The cabin is ideal for climbing courses. Its own power station provides the electricity for light and warm water.
