Gaulihütte SAC 2205 m
Starting point for high alpine tours and alpine ski mountaineering tours in the eastern part of the Bernese Oberland. Climbing on gneiss with maximum grip and the view of Gauligletscher and lakes in the glacier foreland are the main attractions of this cabin. Families like the boulders which are especially equipped for children, tours to the glacier, swimming in the Chipfenseeli and organized climbing camps for children. Special «Dakota tours» to see the Dakota, an American World War II airplane which crashed on the glacier nearby.
