This is a picturesque ascent along the marked snowshoe hiking trail, which is very popular among snowshoe hikers.
Route description
Brunni – Furggelenstock
From the Brunni Restaurant (1089 m) bus stop follow the forest road south-eastward to traverse Zwäckentobel and Erlentobel. Ascend eastward in clearings to Furggelen (1526 m) via Erlenblätz, Langried and Brüch. Slightly east of the ridge ascend southward to the highest point.
Descent
On the ascent; of the other authorized routes only the one eastward (Tschalun) is attractive for skiers.

The tour is in capercaillie (a highly sensitive and endangered species) habitat. In order to protect the animals in this area, admissible routes are marked and must be absolutely respected.
