Route description
Jungfraujoch - Konkordiaplatz - Grünhornlücke - Finsteraarhornhütte
From the Jungfraujoch (Sphinxstollen (tunnel) exit 3464 m), descend the Jungfraufirn to the east corner of Konkordiaplatz south of the Grünegg (approx. 2700 m). Now ascend the Grüneggfirn north-east to the Grünhornlücke (3279 m) and ski down its beautiful eastern slopes to the Walliser Fiescherfirn till approx. 2950 m. Cross the glacier to beneath the hut, then climb the rather steep (100m of 38 °) south-west slope to reach your high mountain accommodation.
