This is the most popular part of the climbing at Faulensee. The routes are less difficult, but more polished. This is understandable; the 'climbing garden' here is one of the oldest in the Bernese Oberland and was very popular early on. Before indoor climbing walls, for the top climbers of the time, the tough routes here provided the ideal training ground for building muscle.
