Several summits in one sweep
The long ridge between Eggerhorn and Holzjihorn provides an almost complete view of Binntal deep below. This valley is world-famous for its mineral richness. Several sulfosalt minerals have only been found here. Besides minerals the valley offers a rich flora and fauna. The majority of the valley is a nature park, which includes an eco-friendly, extensive agriculture. Before the construction of a road tunnel Binn was in winter often isolated from the main valley due to avalanche danger.
