Ice Age is the perfect beginner climbing area: On this straightforward, 30 m high gneiss slab children can dare to take their first steps 'on lead', practice abseiling and learn safe practice. The dark, south-facing rock can be climbed even on mild winter days, but can be too hot in high summer.
