Claro 700 m Climbing
This beautiful crag stands in the middle of a chestnut forest, sheltered from the noise of the valley floor. The routes, which were developed from the mid-80s onwards, flow up over excellent gneiss. The difficulties are mostly in the middle to upper range. For local climbers, this place became a playground, where the creativity and abilities of the individual could grow and blossom. A whole series of routes were opened, then forgotten about, then rediscovered after years and finally climbed free. At present, a climber of international renown is in the process of solving the 'last great problems' here, as well as bolting other, very demanding routes. The rock is therefore in constant evolution and offers the visitor a wide range of possibilities and challenges.
