Route description
Planurahütte - Claridenpass - Clariden
From the Planurahütte (2947 m) follow the glacial ridge to the Claridenpass, then bear north over the Claridenfirn, right of the Claridenhorn, and around the following rock spur onto Clariden's east flank. Climb up to the saddle southeast of the summit and then up the final slope this to the top. The bergschrund is best bypassed to the right (north). It can also be avoided altogether by climbing onto the rocks further; these lead instead to the northeast ridge (in 2020, a few bolts were installed there) and from there also easily to the summit.
