Due to the decommissioning of the Stockhornbahn, the Stockhornpass has dropped a little 'off the radar'. It can be reached today either from the Monte Rosahütte via the Panorama Trail (and no longer via the Saaser Licka as before) from the Gornergrat or from Flue (direct access to the Cima das Jazzi).
Route description
Monte Rosahütte - Cima di Jazzi
From the Monte Rosahütte (2882 m) follow the "Panoramaweg" down to approx. 2800 m "Ob dem See" and turn east. Via P. 2962 you reach the Gornergletscher.
