Route description
Stöckalp - footpath junction ca. 1400 m
From the Stöckalp follow the footpath signed Melchsee-Frutt until about 1400 m (cairns).
Footpath junction - start of the route.
By a cairn, turn right and follow a mostly dry stream bed uphill to reach the base of the wall, where at the lowest point you'll find the route Meteorit. To reach sector Chaltbach, you must continue rightwards along the cliff base, beneath a waterfall and climb up onto a higher grassy terrace where the routes stand beneath a large roof.
Variant: cliff base - start of Pulsar
Traverse left to reach the start of the route Pulsar in an obvious corner where the wall changes aspect.
