The ascent to Chamonna dal Linard leads from the picturesque Lavin in wide zigzags through the God Laret (larch forest). Halfway up the Plan da Bügl you climb out of the forest (up to here possible by bike) to reach the hut via a long, promising traverse.
Route description
Lavin - Chamanna dal Linard
From the train station follow the yellow signs to the bridge across the valley road to La Fratta (1480 m). The path leads up over alpine meadows and into the forest of God Laret then zig zags up tot eh cross at Plan da Büg (1960 m), then westward above the treeline into the high valley of Glims. A final panoramic traverse across the grassy flank and a single rock step (chains) brings you to the hut.
