Thanks to a short but varied approach from Dürrboden, the hut is also a popular destination for day trippers. The pristine lakes abound the hut make it particularly attractive. The harldy noticable Fuorcla da Grialetsch (pass); the watershed between the Black Sea and the North Sea, is crossed just before the hut.
Route description
Dürrboden - Chamanna da Grialetsch CAS
The hut path starts flat from Dürrboden (2004 m), then rises SE across the slopes of Dürrbodenberg into the Furggabach valley and up to Furggasee (2509 m) before crossing the little pronounced Fuorcla da Grialetsch (2536 m) to reach the hut by the second of two small lakes.
Variant: From Davos
From Davos (1559 m) a hiking trail, which joins the road for short sections, leads SE through the long Dischma Valley to the Dürrboden (2001 m).
