Carschinahütte SAC 2236 m
Located in Rätikon on the border of Austria. Drusentor, the via ferrata on Sulzfluh, Prättigau High Route and Partnunsee are among the destinations reached from the Carschinahut. It is popular among mountain bikers and families. Children can be introduced to climbing on boulders without any risk: the environs of the cabin can be called a high-altitude sandbox. The building is characteristic of the work of SAC architect Jakob Eschenmoser (1908–1993). In winter it is a destination for snowshoe hikers (only the winter room is open).
