A cabin for mountain hikers characterized by the striking modern architecture, sometimes called “The control tower of the Alps”. Built a hundred years ago to facilitate the ascents of Blinnenhorn and the summits around Grieshorn (Corno Gries).Today the cabin between Nufenenpass and the Italian Val Formazza has become a convenient stopover for families and long-distance hikers who do e.g. the small „Haute-Route du Soleil“ and for mountain bikers.
