Almost soon as you leave Nufenenpass road behind you can spy the hut's characteristic structure. So there's plenty of time to eat cake, explore the immediate surroundings or to visit one of the nearby summits.
Route description
Nufenenpassstrasse (Alpe di Cruina) - Alp Corno - Capanna Corno Gries
From the eastern side of the Nufenenpass road, above the hairpin bend (2001 m, Alpe di Cruina), a path leads out SW via Alp Corno (2204 m) to the hut.
