Route description
Dalpe - Capanna Campo Tencia
From the large car park at Dalpe (1192 m), take the line of the summer path past a small chapel and up to the bridge at 1365 m, or otherwise follow the road south across open ground, then NE up through the forest. At P. 1239, take the right hand fork and continue SW to the Polpiano bridge (1365 m), then on to the tiny cluster of houses at Piumogna (1399 m). After the first group of buildings, leave the road and follow the line of the summer path, at first across open ground, then through the forest, past the water reservoir above Alpe di Géra and on to a small bridge at Sgnòi at 1650 m. Cross the bridge S and make your way up left (E) of the Cogni cliffs though sparse forest. Once above the cliffs bear right (W) towards Alpe di Croslina (1982 m). Before reaching the alp, steer south and drop down to a bridge at ca. 1960 m. From here continue westwards, taking the safest way up through the cliffs to reach the hut perched above the rocks at 2140 m.
