Hut approach from an alternative starting point to the Oberalp Pass. The two routes join at Milez. The approach is marked with poles.
Route description
Tschamut – Camona da Maighels CAS
Skin westwards from Tschamut past Plaunca Mulin and drop down to cross the Vorderrhein (river) via the bridge shortly before P. 1627. Continue up river until it the Rein da Tuma fork. Cross this, then ascend steadily to the alp huts of Milez (1860 m). From here steeper westwards to Tgatlems, near P. 1995. Bear left (S) along the summer path via Plidutscha to P. 2173 and head east of Lai Urlaun (lakes) and up to the hut (2313 m).
