Route description
La Fouly – cabin
From La Fouly cross the Drance de Ferret on the bridge at 1593 m and go NNW into the valley. The valley has two creeks: La Reuse de l’Amône and La Reuse de l’A Neuve. Follow the Reuse de l’A Neuve until its source in the glacier forefield. Avoid the summer trail, which crosses the Reuse de l’Amône further north. From the glacier depression ascend northward to traverse the lateral moraine to the west of P. 2094. Now ascend on steep slopes and stay 100 metres away from the pillar on which the cabin stands. You reach the cabin from above by bypassing the rocks on the left-hand side.
