Route description
Fafleralp - Einstieg
From the Fafleralp car park ("Gletscherstafel" on the map), follow the footpath signed “Anenhütte” and “Rock Metal Climbing". At about 2080 m, the blue marked "Rock Metal Climbing" and "Gletschererlebnisweg" branch off to the right. Following this, ascend into the valley via the old moraine, up to a Bödeli (approx. 2220 m) a short distance before the footbridge leads over a side stream. Turn left and cross a scree or snow filled depression to begin the via ferrata (approx. 2210 m); if you spot the ironware early, you can also cut across along the edge of the scree bowl (the best route here must be sought out).
