The various summits: Petite Aiguille de la Fenêtre (approx. 3335 m), Aiguille de la Fenêtre (3412 m), Aiguille de la Varappe (W approx. 3516 m, E 3519 m), Aiguilles Penchées (W approx. 3504 m, Sommet Central approx. 3505, E approx. 3490 m), Pointe Fynn or Pointe Vierge (approx. 3450 m), Tête Biselx (3509 m), Aiguilles sans Nom (N approx. 3444 m, S approx. 3430 m), Le Trident (3436 m ), Aiguille Javelle (approx. 3435 m), Tête Crettez (approx. 3419 m).
The Aiguilles Dorées extend from Fenêtre de Saleina to Col Droit over 1.3 kilometers. The main summit needles listed above are split by various niches and saddles. It is an extremely attractive granite mass, which protrudes like a nunatak from the polar ice masses.
With the Cabane du Trient, the Bivouac Envers des Dorées and the Cabane de Saleina, the Aiguilles Dorées are made very accessible. The different peaks offer a lot of great climbing routes. The chain was named Aiguilles Dorées by James David Forbes, in reference to the yellowish color of the consistently solid rock.
